Hysterectomy

Had a hysterectomy a month ago my womb as well as ovaries have been removed due to a tumour on my ovaries.

My question is my doctor says i dont need HRT
as i dont have severe symptoms of hot flashes. I do struggle with crying for no apparent reason and mood swings.

Is HRT harmfull and is there any negative effects if i dont use HRT?

If you had ovarian cancer, HRT would be contraindicated.
