Hallo Leah
HPV can be treated but not healed. It is better to have sex with a condom if you are not yet infected. Gardasil is a new vaccine available to women that protects them against the most common strains of HPV that can cause cervical cancer. It is important that both of you go for yearly check ups, you for a papsmear, and your boyfriend to treat any new warts that appear.
If you are planning a baby, ensure that both of you do not have any active warts while trying to conceive.
