How to increase milk supply?

I have had 2 children and my 3rd is due in 2 weeks. I had relatively little milk with the first two, but really want to try to breastfeed exclusively with the next one for longer.
Is there anything I could ask my gynae to prescribe to increase milk supply?
I' ve tried the suppliments and tonics and drinking lots of fluids, etc. - it didn' t work for me.
