Hooka, waterpipe or hubbly bubbly smoking

I dont know if you' re familiar with the above mentioned smoking method. What I want to know is, " How safe is it?" . Is is similar as smoking a sigarette or is it less dangerous. Are there any reported cases of illnesses because of smoking this waterpipe? What danger is there is smoking it? Has it been tested for dangerous toxins that might be in it?

Dear Hennie
It has the same dangers as smoking sigarettes and toxins are not filtered out because it goes through water.

There r many old wives tales about the hubly bubly pipe being a safer option. Don' t believe a word of this. Water is able to filter solid particles like dust. We see this on the Verimark adverts 4 their vaccuum cleaner. However the chemicals + harmful things found in smoking tobacco certainly do NOT get filtered out by the water. If anything, U could even b worse off smoking the pipe because a person tends 2 smoke it 4 a much longer period everytime than smoking a cigarette. Don' t believe a word of what anybdy says about the water pipe being safer. NO smoking of any kind is safe. Do some research in the internet. U' ll be shocked 2 see what all U put into your body by smoking any tobacco by any means. Regards.
