Hondjie voet

Goeie Middag

Ek wil graag uitvind.

Baie dankie

Hi Petru

If the nail is loose then this might be causing the pain. Have a good look at the nail and see if the nail is fractured. If this is the case then the nail may have to be removed to prevent further trauma. Is the damaged toenail on the same leg that the dog is limping? If this is the case then it may just be the nail and/or a soft tissue sprain.

It is possible that your Fox Terrier could develop an allergy in another household. It can be difficult to define what the allergen is without doing some allergy testing. Talk to your local veterinary practice and seek his/her advise on the matter.

Kind regards

Angus Campbell
