HIV time period

If you infected with HIV, how long does it take before you become sick, like loosing weight and getting other illnesses related to HIV.

It depends very much on the physical condition and level of infection. It can take up to 10 years for the CD 4 white cell count to fall so low that the patient starts getting infections.
