HIV

I need to know if babies are tested for HIV at birth.
my wife tested negative before her delivery and have not done a follow up test . Just be be sure, i need to know if my child is negative as well .

Yes, you can ask your clinic to do a HIV test on the baby. I do not think that the clinic will test the baby for HIV at birth, if there is no clear reason to have the test done.
