Hi Dr. What are the signs when ones replaced hip begin to give problems.? What does the " re" replacement op entail, does it involve the same trauma and recovery as the first op and are both parts replaced or only that part that is worn ? Thank you

The most important signs are pain. The results of revision joint replacement are never as good as the primary replacements. Both parts will be replaced
