HIGH SUGAR LEVELS DURING EARLY PREGANCY

HI I M 32YRS IN MY IST PREGANCY I PICKED UP HIGH SUGAR LEVELS AT 7MONTHS, I WAS ON A DIET AND CONTROLLED MY SUGAR INTAKE. I M NOW 7 WEEKS PREGANT AND MY SUGAR IS 8! MY DOC SUGGESTS STARVATION TESTS NEXT. M I ON D RITE PATH, WHAT MEDICATION IS GIVEN TO PREGANT MUMS TO CONTROL SUGAR LEVELS AND HOW DANGEROUS IS IT FOR MY LITTLE ONE? PSE ADVISE. THANKS
NO REAL HISTORY OF HIGH SUGAR B4 BUT I DID HAVE PCOS.
