Dear Jasy
High cortisol levels, supresses insulin, and high cortisol can be caused by over active adrenal glands like in Cushing syndrome. Has your doctor checked the adrenal gland function?

I have the same problem, except I dont take glucophage. I think that high insulin levels automatically place stress on the body causing high cortisol levels(the body' s long term stress horemone). although high cortisol can also be caused by many other things ie adrenal gland malfunction, liver metabolism etc. Have you seen an endocrinologist?
