high blood sugar levels in 16 year old daughter

sugar levels seem to increase after physical activity.
do not want to start medication this early.
chromium? how much?

is she diabetic? One should not look at random sugar levels but rather at her fasting blood sugar and blood insulin to see if there is really a problem. Normal people can get spikes of high blood sugar after exercise and meals but it usually returns to normal after an hour or two.
