High Blood Prssure

I have been on high blood pressure pills for one month now and am concerned about the side effects. I am 66 and female. I am going to go onto a special diet to lower my blood pressure (unless you can recommend something else). When is safe to stop taking the pills?

Hypertension is not unnecessarily referred to as the silent killer. Therefore, you should not stop taking your high blood pressure medication, unless your doctor recommends it.
