High Blood Pressure / Snoring

My wife, who is 58, is about 15% overweight and snores heavily. We are aware that being overweight can contribute to snoring but can the snoring contribute to High Blood Pressure? She has been getting very little exercise lately and has recently discovered that her blood pressure is about 160 / 90.

Dear Joe Soap
Snoring can lead to high blood pressure, heart problems and strokes, so it may be worth it for her to try and lose weight and get more exercise.
