Hallo Stuart
No, there are not. Certain foods may help to lower blood pressure like Omega 3 oil supplements but if you have hypertension due to hereditary factors of kidney disease, you will have to take prescription medication. Losing weight, exercising, eating less salt may also help to lower your blood pressure.

Yes, there are certain herbs you can use to lower blood pressure, but if you have hypertension, rather let a GP diagnose it and prescribe treatment. It is one condition you don''t want to mess with and it is very treatable with conventional medication....and much cheaper.
