High Alkaline pH.

Dear Doc,

I used a urine test strip. Everything was normal, except my pH was extremely high... the block was even darker than the last block on the bottle. I know this means I have high alkaline content in my urine, but what could be the cause of this, for example, eating or drinking too much or too little of something, etc?

Thank you.

A high urine alkline pH can be a symptom of a systemic disease. Consult your doctor for the necessary tests.
