hi

Whom it may consern

We are a company with 3 admin staff members - two of our manager is leaving the office. are the company allow to reduce staff and to what exstend. and what is the process to follow. Can they only let one go and which one - is it the one we employee last?

We are a financial company.
If there are a mistaske made from one of the adminstaff regarding a cancellation of ''n client that was not submitted and the advisor need to refund the client. are they as employers allowed to deduct the money from your salary or dismissed you?

Normally in terms of the retrenchment process, lifo (last in first out) is used.

Employers are not normally allowed to deduct money from salary. If they believe the mistake was gross negligence then they must have a disciplinary hearing and prove that dismissal is appropriate.
