Help!

My colleague has a male &  female of which the female is presently on heat. The male has mated with her but since the occassion he has not lost his erection and " it"  is still sticking out. It is now more than a week. Would voltaren help for this or could you suggest something he could use as the dog seems to be in pain

Hi Michelle
Voltaren will definitely NOT help for this problem and is actually not safe to use in dogs. The condition is called paraphimosis and can be very serious if left untreated. It can also be extremely painful. You must get him to a vet as soon as possible
