Hebs and pregnancy

Which herbs and aromatic oils is not good when I try to concieve or is pregnant? Is greentea safe to use?

Hello Bella,

Green tea should be limited during pregnancy.

Oils to avoid during pregnancy:
Aniseed, armoise (mugwort), arnica, basil, birch, camphor, cedarwood, clary sage, cypress, fennel, hyssop, jasmine, juniper, marjoram, myrrh, origanum, pennyroyal, peppermint, rose, rosemary, sage, savory, thyme, wintergreen, plus any other oil described as toxic.


Herbs to avoid during pregnancy:
Angelica,
Black Cohosh,
Blue Cohosh,
Borage oil,
Comfrey,
Dong Quai
Elder
Fenugreek
Goldenseal
Henbane
Horsetail
Licorice Root
Motherwort
Mugwort
Nutmeg
Pennyroyal Leaf
Rue
Shepherd's Purse
Uva Ursi
Yarrow
