Heart problems - Jack Russell

My 10-year-old Jack Russell female has a heart condition and is on daily medication, prescribed by my vet. She has always been a fit, healthy dog and has never been overweight. Now she has bouts of fatigue and listlessness. The vet says her heart is bad. Is there anything else that can I can do to extend her life?

Make sure she eats balanced meals, give her proper exercise for her age and take her to the vet every now and then. That' s about all you can do, but it' s very effective.
