Dear Bobby

I would suggest wax removal by a GP or ENT specialist. If you are still deaf after removal of the wax, you should have a hearing test (audiogram) done. This can be done through an audiologist. Contact your nearest hospital for information.

It is unlikely that wax itself causes severe deafness or permanent deafness.
