Heathy, low-fat, high-fibre snacks include fresh vegetables (baby tomatoes, celery or carrot sticks) fresh fruit (apples, oranges, berries), high-fibre biscuits (Pro-Vita, Rye-Vita) with fat-free cottage cheese (there are lots of flavours to choose from) or fat-free yoghurt or small quantities of unbuttered popcorn. Wholegrain foods are those made of grains that have not been sieved or refined: brown rice, unsifted maize meal, brown, wholewheat or rye bread, Pro-Vitas, Rye-Vitas, pasta made from wholewheat flour, whole, crushed wheat, etc.
