HEADACHE AND SPORT

I get terrible headaches when I do sport like jogging, tennis, squash whilst when I do cycling and walking and dont get headaches. Can you help please? Thank you

Dear Andy
this may be an exercise induced type of migraine you get - more common with high impact exercise than low impact exercise. It is always best to let your doctor do a full neurological examination to exclude any brain diseases or abnormal growths, if this is normal, try using Naproxen 500mg an hour or so before you exercise to prevent it
