Hayfever and bladder control

Dear Doc

Whenever I have a hayfever attack I struggle to control my bladder. I wet myself whenever I sneeze and need to wear a maxipad. Why does this happen?

Hallo Racoon
You may have "stress incontinence" caused by the bladder's support being weakened or due to a lack of esterogen
See http://kidney.niddk.nih.gov/kudiseases/pubs/uiwomen/
You may need to see an urologist to examine you to determine whether treatment with esterogen, medication or an operation would be necessary.
