Thanks for your reply,

I will take my little chap off to vets today. He in fact has a stage one heart murmur so i take him for an echo cardiogram bi-annually and we chech his liver and kidney fxns. sometimes the vet just scans them at the same time as the heart, and sometimes he draws bloods to check his creatine and urea levels as well. so we are keeping an eye on him :)
