Have a cold and going to Gym

When does it become unsafe to go to gym? At the start of a cold? or Only if you have flu?

It is very unsafe to exercise if you have the cold or flu and you should abstain from exercise until all symptoms have subside. If you exercise while you have a cold or the flu, you can develop a myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle), that can lead to severe heart failure.
