if the process was done right and you have recovered, then you should be able to run. You do need to take care, but that's the case for everyone. That means start slowly and build up gradually and take care to monitor it. You would also benefit enormously from doing some Pilates classes to make sure that you have covered all the bases and worked on the stability of the core muscles and spine. If you do that, then you'll find that running is possible. But you do have to take care, just as anyone else would.
