Hair colouring

My daughter who has recently had a miscarriage has again fallen pregnant. Is it dangerous for her to have her hair highlighted/coloured during the intial stages of her pregnancy?

Dear Paddy
No it hasn't been proven to be dangerous but with changing hormones the final effect may not be as expected, and during the first 3 months one should avoid haircolour that comes into contact with the skin as it may be theoretically absorbed - so going for foils or highlights/low lights are the safest options.
