haemophilus parainfluenza B Lactomase Positive

My father was diagnosed with haemophilus parainfluenza B Lactomase Positive. Can you please explain to me what it is.

It is a viral infection that commonly effects the elderly immune compromised patients, as well as children. It causes flu symptoms and more severe cases viral pneumonitis (lung infection). The infection can be quite severe and needs to be treated in a hospital.
