Greenstick fracture

Dear Doctor

My 2 yr old daughter as a greenstick fracture of her wrist. the doctor has banadged it and advised that we keep it bandaged for 2 weeks.
All the info I find online recommends a cast for at least 3 weeks.
Should she have a cast?

Thanks
Tina

I suggest that you consult an orthopaedic surgeon for a seond opinion. It is possible that the greenstick fracture is not that severe but usually a cast is necessary.
