My ENT removed a granuloma from between my vocal chords. How is this caused and can it be prevented in future?

Vocal injury due to infection or strain can cause the formation of fibrotic tissue. Treat throat infections as soon as possible to prevent reoccurence. You should also consult your ENT as soon as possible if there is any change in your voice.
