Good diet is the way to go - if your diet is sound, then the rest is details, and you don't need to worry about performance enhancers. There are, to be frank, no such things as "performance enhancers" in that sense of the word. It just takes training and work, unless of course the diet is poor. Then correcting it improves performance, but if you start with a decent diet, then it doesn't help.
If you are concerned about the diet, then I'd say a good multi-vitamin will help, but again, these are not performance enhancers as much as they are "normalizers", and you're far better off simply fixing up the potential problems.
