Going back on contraception

i have been off contraception for two months and have had rregular bleeding and dark brown/ black clots/discharge. I want to go back on the pill, should i just wait for my period to start- since i have stopped i bleed aery three weeks for a few days- can i start once i start bleeding again or should i take a pregnancy test first?

I doubt that you are pregnant. You can start taking the contraceptive at the beginning of your period.
