genital warts

does this new vaccine which prevent uterus cancer, also prevent genital warts?

The vaccine is for HPV which a virus , the symptoms are warts although you may have it for years without having warts. A certain strain of this virus can cause cervical cancer. The vaccine is for the preventiion of HPV which in turn lessens the chances of getting cervical cancer......Hope that helps!
