fruit

hi, we have a 14 week old -|- er spaniel puppy who loves fruit especially peaches &  apples. I just want to find out is it ok. we don' t give her big amounts. when i eat say a peach she' ll have like a less than half, but this happens 2 or 3 times a week. So on the longterm will this not have any negative affects on her? can there bodies digest the sugar in fruit? thanks!!

Yes they can - but of course if they use up their entire appetites eating fruit, there won' t be any room left for the nutrition they need from their proper food.

Grapes and raisins should not be given, they can be toxic to dogs (kidney failure).
