Fructose is not a good substitute for sugar when you are glucose intolerant. It has been found that diets high in fructose intake promotes glucose intolerance. You should eat low GI foods, no sugar and exercise regularly and loose weight.

Glucose intolerance is a precursor for diabetes and if your insulin levels do not stabilise, you will have to your Glucophage before meals.
