Fred the Jack rustle

Hi Doc,

There were little poos in Freds bed this morning. Just wondering if this should still be happing now that has been carstrated or is it too soon after the operation to tell.

It can take a period of about 1-2 weeks for the prostate to decrease in size. What you can do is use some lactulose or liquid parafin to soften the stools and therefore allow an easier transit in the rectum. Please consult with you vet 1st before enbarking on this treatment.
