Food allergy

My 4 year old often starts to sneeze when she eats.
After that she doesn' t want to eat anymore.
We did pick up that peanut butter makes it worse.

She was born with a cleft lip and palate and also suffers with sinus problems. Her palate was repaired when she was about 18 months old.

How can I find out if it' s allergies?
Or can her cleft palate be the reason?

Dear Marianne
You can have her tested for nut and peanut allergy ( peanuts are not nuts, they are pulses...) Are you sure that the palate was closed 100%, or is it possible that she may still get some food into the nasal cavity when eating?
