Fluid in pregnancy

I am 32 weeks pregnant now. When I saw my gynae 2 weeks ago, she was worried as the amniotic fluid had increased from 4 weeks earlier instead of reducing. The baby is rather large and I was tested for pregnancy diabetes. All was normal. My question is that I am very large and obviously still growing. Could this increase in fluid and still rising fluid result in perhaps premature labour?

An increase in fluid could cause preterm labour, but only if was very much increased.
