Flu Vaccination

Hi Doc,

I have just recovered from a serious bout of Laryngitis and a chest infection. Is it wise to get the flu injection now or will I hamper my immune system further?

Thanks doc!

Hallo Layla
Wait a week to 10 days after the acute infection before you take the flu vaccine, although the virus is inactive, the immune reaction it triggers could cause a flare up of the infection. Take something like Moducare or Viral Choice C to boost your immunity in the mean time.
