first seizure in 6 year old

hi i am worried about a friend of mines 6 year old little girl. About 5 days ago for the first time ever they noticed her shaking uncontrollaby and it appeared as thought she was going to vomit - they then took her to their bedroom and layed her on the bed and as they rolled her over they noticed she was blue and not breathing. After alot of panick she started breathing again. they then took her to the hospital her confirmed she had had a seizure. They did an ECG but cannot work out what caused it. Since then the child is very clingy and very quiet and not herself. she did have a slight temp of 38.5 but dont think that could have brought that on. What should she do to find out the reason and what could be wrong?

Hallo AB
The cause of a seizure is not always obvious, but fever is a common reason, and it need not be sky high, some kids fit at 38 degrees. She should be seen by a pediatric neurologist and treated preventatively if needed.
