fertiscope &  detecting fertility

Hi,

I' ve purchased a fertiscope (to detect ferning pattern when ovulating) and was wondering when one has conceived will the pattern change? Can slight ferning still take place after fertilisation?

Dear Jordanna

Detecting ferning pattern when ovulating does not use the urine detection method of an LH rise but uses a high estrogen level in your body. So it is possible because of pregnancy this high estrogen level may persist and the ferning may still take place after fertilization.
