False ultrasound

Hi. I just want to find out if its possible that an ultrasound may be false. The reason im asking is i wasnt feeling to well and went to see the doctor. He did an ultrasound and it showed that im 4 weeks pregnant. This can not be as i use contraceptives.

Is it possible that the ultrasound was incorrect?

The efficacy of an ultrasound is dependant on the operator. You can confirm the pregnancy with a blood test. Even a home pregnancy test will be sensitive enough to detect pregnancy at four weeks term.
