Fainting and Seizure after falling

Yesterday at his house, my friend slipped on the carpet and fell over quite hard on his side. He then jumped up and walked over to the couch.
He then passed out, slipped to a lying down position and, with his eyes rolled back into his head, made snoring noises for about 5 seconds.
He then jerked violently and woke up completely disorientated.
Please could you help - is there something wrong with him or is it just an extreme reaction to pain?

No this sounds as if he may have a concussion - rather let him see a doctor. If he develops any other funny symptoms like
-Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body
-Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding
-Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes
-Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination
-Sudden, severe headache
then he needs to see a doctor immediately
