Fading a Scar

I am 35 years old Asian and have a dark scar on my lower back.
I would like to know if using advantan or cortisone cream could help fade the scar.
If so how effective would this treatment be?

Dear Scarred
No Advantan or cortisone cream would not help, rather see a dermatologist - using the wrong ointment will make the skin even darker

The best cream for any scars - new or old - is RegimA' s scar repair cream.
