I am 57 years old &  recently experienced a phenomenon of pulsating " strobe"  lights (coloured softly like a rainbow) from behind my eyes into my peripheral vision (lasting about 30 seconds)&  then a week or so later bright flashing lights from behind the left eye. I do suffer from headaches, but these lights are a first. There was no pain or dizzyness while this was happening. I am otherwise in good health &  lead an active life. Any idea what this could be &  should I worry about it?
Many thanks.
