Hi Dean, thank you for the question.

This is a difficult question to answer over the net as ideally one would need to examine the area first before advising on the best treatment options (surgical or non-surgical).

There are definite non-surgical options including fractional skin resurfacing, dermal fillers, and skin tightening technologies that can make significant improvements in the correct patients. Unfortunately, in some circumstances, such as excessive skin laxity, loss of ligamentous support, and/or extrusion of fat one can only achieve mild improvement non-surgically and as such the best treatment option would be to consider surgery.

The information provided does not constitute a diagnosis of your condition. You should consult a medical practitioner or other appropriate health care professional for a physical exmanication, diagnosis and formal advice.
