eye condition

Hi,

I was born with an eye condition with something to do with my eyelid muscles either not forming properly or have a problem with them i have had various operations to open my eyelids more and have a sort of "sling" to help with the opening and closing of my eyes. Unfortunately i can not find any information about what my condition is exactly and i need ot know as much about it as possible.

I did not see a tab for any optometrist under the "experts" so i was hoping maybe you could give me a guide. I stay in South Africa.

Reguards,

Shaylia
