EXPOSURE TO BROMINE PENTAFLUORIDE AND SLEEP APNOEA

My boyfriend had chemical exposure to liquid bromine pentafluoride last year and has subsequently been diagnosed with sleep apnoea (from a sleep clinic).

Is there any possible link that this exposure could have caused sleep apnoea other than the fact that he has been unable to exercise since the incident and has there picked up weight.

Look forward to your response.
