I want to find out what the best possible ways are of exercising (i.e. what exercise) if a person is a smoker.
Also how should one start off with exercises if you haven'y trained in over a year?

Dear Harry
A smoker can do any exercises a non-smoker can do unless you have lung disease like emphysema or chronic bronchitis. It is always good to combine cardiovascular exercise with muscle building and to start slowly. If you are too short of breath to talk to someone while you exercise, you are doing too much. First get the go-ahead from your doctor that it is safe for you to exercise and then it is always better to get a personal trainer to work out an individualized exercise program for you.
