Excema treatment

Hi,
IS there something recommended for Excema treatment for dogs?

Hi Missy,

There is no cure for excema. As clinicians we aim to control the symptoms by reducing the clinical sign’s of the condition.

Generally we use corticosteroids or other immune modifying treatments such as cyclosporine. In addition to the latter we also dispense emollients to moisten the skin and advise that the client consider changing the animal’s diet to one of the premium prescription skin foods.
